It was made back in the 70's. School House Rock was created to stick catchy jingles in the heads of children as Public Service Announcements. They were shown like commercials after school on Saturdays during the 70's early 80's. It would have been the equivalent of seeing a Ramstien or Solja Boy video pop up next to a Mt.Dew commercial That informed you of a fundamental right or clip of history. While fundamentaly sound might come off as lame; it would still stick in the head of a child.
