no i know what the last post ment once u told me u were being sarcastic. But no matter which person you talk about mccain the "maverick" or obama "supercool" you can find a video or tv add that's about both of them and that appeals to diiferent people. For example mccain it the "maverick he knows how to deal with the middle east" that's one add that is directed make people feel he is the only who can take care of the war. which is NOT true.

also lost on you was the meaning of my last post. I don't care what color a candidate is.
There was far far more to the image packaging of Obama than color. He's a lightweight. There's not a lot in that nice suit he wears. He was slick and cool on the campaign. He didn't say much except HOPE and CHANGE over and over. Platitudes. Vague dreaming. And it worked. Some people voted for him because he was black but not most. Most were swayed by his perfect diction and charisma. Again...packaging.

kurt44ko (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
how can that be entirely true cuz if the majority of the american public is white why would they choose a african american "image"

I guess my sarcasm was too subtle...Obama is nothing but an image that was packaged and bought by the public. |
