@rikleith Vivian Stanshall is the bloke in this piece who did the MC intro on the 1973 original, appropriately for Virgin Records' first record release. Inspired by the Bonzo Dog Doo Da Band's 'The Intro and the Outro' , dated late 60s featuring Viv as the band's lead vocalist.. It's on you tube

John Cleese played th MC part on a different version of this song. Although the guy doing it on here has a very unusual voice.
