I guess its ironic, but its probably better that way. Think of all the bullshit feuds that would go on between GNR and VR, whether they were real or just cooked up by the media or whatever... It would be annoying and could end up overshadowing the music.I will say this, though... I own both VR albums and a few singles and shit. I also saw them in concert a few times and I really enjoyed them. But from GNR, all I've got is AFD. And that's enough.

I wouldn't say that GNR is "back on top". Back, yes, on top, no.
