Slayer and Metallica are not in the same genre.Metallica sold out, and havent been thrash for decades. i disagree, slayer and metallica may be in the same genre but slayer and metallica can really be compared in a sense of judging which one is better.

well, at least slayer still kicks ass.Im a huge fan of metallica, but srsly, Metallica can't write top class music without cliff burton.And btw, slayer is no gothic something. They're one of the first thrash metal bands, together with metallica. If you don't like their music, just don't listen to it? :P
