If someone likes India, kindly dont assert your opinion by commenting negatively. If you have no good thing to say dont say anything at all. Although some of your points are valid, at least Indians dont have high teenage pregnancy rates, highest divorce rates, high taxation for wars, racial discrimination, drug abuse and a lot more! At least we Indians know how to live happily through all the bad things there are. And I agree with you India needs change, and it is happening!

well madhobbit, i surely don't miss india (visited there in 2006), i was born in india but the govt is so corrupt that my parents moved overseas when i was young and i am leading a good life in USA>going from usa to india is like going from heaven to hell. i am sure that's the reason why you probably live in some western/mideastern country too, right?anyway, india NEEDS MAJOR CHANGE!

I am in Indian living in the UK for long. 200 Rs is certainly alot of "overpayment". Definitely due to skin colour. People in India will overcharge you, but they would never harm you or kill someone for money, like it happens in London, and Glasgow streets.

I went to Bombay august 2007, i really loved the place, but the constant begging, constant staring and the smell was over whelming. I plan going back to India soon though, i miss it.
