I am IRISH I notice a lot of debate here between you all about the meaning of "ZOMBIE". This song has NOTHING to do with american politics or the NRA...it is about the troubles in Northern Ireland and the pain that WE innocent Irish civilians have endured at the hands of the long fued between political parties, the loyalist unionists, IRA (Irish Republican Army) etc...much like "U2 Sunday Bloody Sunday" it is meant as a collective cry for help from the Irish people to STOP the fighting!
