Marilyn Manson's never been goth, he's been about the god of fuck. His Spooky Kid era was the best, and maybe The Golden Age of Grotesque.
But seriously you just cannot compare them. They have a different style and sound, I like both of them but I've been obsessed with Manson for ages.
That comment at the end was a bit harsh though. I'm not starting on you in any way, it's just you're missing out the real goth: Fields of the Nephilim, Diamanda Galas, Siouxsie Sioux ect.
Goth has died out. :(

why does everyone think that deathstars sound like marilyn manson and rammstein rammstein maybe but nothing like marilyn manson, manson is good dont get wrong look at my name ^^ to me at this point in time manson doesnt get no where as deep into the gothic style as deathstars, i have been a big fan of manson for 6 years and as soonas i heard cyanide i thought deathstars shit all over manson
