I have taken 20 credits in science (meaning physics)at school, and that is the first thing they teach, try wikipedia. No scientist can backup there theory. Try to explain to me why the brilliant scientists cant convince me? Because as far as Im concern everything they rely on is theory vs theory, no real evidence. Before they reached the stars, they shoulve research there on earth (oceans)

I guess ure not getting the point of my comment. I wasnt trying to offend nobody first of all, but I did get mad when somebody tries to play God. There is a big difference between comparing two fuits, and comparing a human being and a planet, if evolution is to be accounted for us humans, than why havent planets evolved? Please evolution cant come from nothing. If we could create life we've would have done so a long time ago.

And, for the record, there is no such thing as a scientific theory which there exists no independently verifiable evidence.

Andangeles.
The big bang isn't an explanation for the origin of life. It is an explanation for our observations of the universe as it is now and as it was in the past. Evolution isn't an explanation for the origin of life. It is an explanation for the variation we see in life. And yes, a lab experiment has created the organic molecules required for life.
Oh, and why is an apple not an orange and an orange is an orange (?!).

Space.... of coarse... a large brick wall, but no body knows whats behind it.

Who here thinks that time existed b4 the big bang? Does anyone have any reason or ideas for this? Please share u'r ideas wit me. Thx

Hey danivers! Everyone have their own beliefs. Who cares if sultanofslam11 thinks religion plays a role in science and discovery. All I can say is that i only believe in the things i see through my eyes but remember your eyes can sometimes play tricks on you. Bottom line is that know one can prove anything yet cuz the truth is far away and proving it, is very difficult. Anyway great argument.

so does it end???
anyone??
danivers (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
OK, you be done then. Take your ball and go home. You really are a troubled individual aren't you? No wonder you hold on to your religion so tightly.
Whatever works, buddy. |
